Director was the first movie director of Vijaykanth. He had changed his name to "Vijaykanth" from "Vijayraj". They had also given a nick name to Vijaykanth as captain. The very first of Vijaykanth was Inikum Ilamai. This movie was directed by M. A. Kaja. The Hundredth film (100th) film of Vijaykanth was Captain Prabhakaran. He had acted at about 150 movies or even more than that. Later he moved to politics and then started the party named as "Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam".
