Sujatha was born on December 1952. She was one of the popular South Indian actress. Sujatha had acted many movies in many languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. She is also well known for her acting on emotions. Director K. Balachander had introdcued Sujatha to the Tamil film industry in the movie called as "Aval Oru Thodar Kathai" in the year 1974. She has acted with many leading actors like Sivaji Ganesan, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, etc. She expired on April 06 2011.

Sujatha was born in the year 1952 in Srilanka. Later she had been moved from Srilank to Kerala. Then she had acted in a movie and that movie got the attention of director K. Balachander. Her frist film in the Malayalam language was "Thapasvini". In Tamil language her first film was "Aval Oru Thodar Kathai".

Sujatha had acted in most of the languages like Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Sujatha had acted for about 300 films. Out of 300 films she would have acted about 200 films in our Tamil language. She started acting as older woman in the year 1980s. Movie named as 'Vathiyar' in the year 2006 was her last film.

Death of famous actress Sujatha
Sujatha had a cardiac arrest and died on 06-April-2011. She was suffering from heart problems and hence was going through treatment for a heart ailment at her residence in Chennai. But still, she left this world on Wednesday (06-Apr-11).
