This article explains the famous ayyappa temple in Coimbatore. Coimbatore is not only famous for Cotton but also for well known and historical, powerful temples.

Sree Ayyappa Temple is one of the famous temples in Coimbatore. It is almost similar to sabrimala temple in kerala. It situated in Sidhapudur, Coimbatore. People daily does pooja and pray the god. It is considered to be one of the powerful god in city. The devotees believe that, prayers will come true. During Sabrimala season, most of the people will gather and wear malai and kattu (tamil word). Group of people and family members will gather in single place and go to Sabrimala for prayers. Devotees will follow the rules and regulations of the temple before they go to sabrimala. People will arrange for travel buses / cars and jointly go to temple. Devotees will sing the song about Ayyappa and start their travels.

December month is famous for Iyappa. Iyappa devotees prefer to visit Iyappa temple before they reach Kerala. This place will be valuable to get devotion from this god.
