K.J Yesudas the great classical musician born in 10 January 1940. His father is his beloved guru for his music, who is Mr. Augustine Joseph Bagavathor well known Malayam classical Musician and greatest Stage actor. He is a student of Hari Hara Subramania Iyer and Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavatar. He joined in R.L.V. Music Academy to take Ganabooshanam Course. Mrs. Alikkutty Joseph is a luckiest mother of Kattassery Joseph Yesudas's mother, most of her time she spend with his son to encourage his music knowledge. He loves music, he breath music and he live with music in his early stage. He has received National Film Award for best male playback singer seven times. He gave more than 40,000 songs to his fans as a gift. He gave his great role in almost all languages including Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Sanskrit.

The debut song of K.J. Yesudas is Jaathi Bhedam Matha Dwesham on 14th Nov 1961. Yesudas started his career as a playback singer in the year 1960 from the Malayalam movie Kaalpadukal . He has started his career as a playback singer in the Tamil movie Bommai, but this song is not reached release first, the first released song was in the movie Konjum Kumari. K.J Yesudas's firt hindi song is in the movie Jai Jawan Jai Kissan.

•Received Award for his achievement in the event "Music and Peace",which is conducted by UNESCO in 1999.

• Performed musical concert to collect National Defense Fund, during Indo- Pakistan war in the yeat 1971. This incident brings him great position as a senate member for Safety and peacein Internation Parliament

• His greatest record, which didn't done by other singer is In 2006, he sang 16 film songs in four South Indian languages on the same day at AVM Studio for the movie Malikapurathu Amman.

• In 1980 Yesudas established the Studio Tharangni at Trivandram and in 1992 this is shifted to Chennai then this company was incorporated in US in the year 1998.
