Career of tamil actor Karthi


Karthi started is career as an assistant director in the film Aayitha Ezhuthu and Yuva. He refused to act in the role of Siddarth and worked as a assistant director to Mani Rathnam in the same film. He was very much interested in directing than acting. He accepted to act as a hero in Ameer Sultan's Paruthiveeran in the year 2007 since the role was interesting. This was the movie which gave him recognition.
