Biography of famous Tamil hero Gemini ganesan(1920-2005)
Gemini ganesans real name was ramaswamy ganesan. He was born in an orthodox Brahmin family lived in puttukoddai, Tamil nadu. His father name was ramasamy, mother gangamma. His grand father name narayana sami and grand mother bagirathi.

While he was studing in sixth class his grand father passed away after in a short period his father too. Then he, his mother and grandmother moved to his aunt muthulasmi's house that lived in madras now Chennai. However gangamma was not happy with the city life and went back to putukkodai leaving ganesan in madras. He was sent to sri Ramakrishna mission by his aunt to study Sanskrit, Vedas, bhagavat gita, and yoga. He learned well and become a yoga expert. He wished to be with his mother and could not tolerate the separation from her. He was sent back to pudukkottai and joined a high school and continued his study. Then he joined the maharaja college there.

Among them three were doctors and one journalist

In 1947 miss malini film was produced by Gemini flim and K.ramnoth introduced ganesan in a minor role in this film. This was his first film. While working in this film the title Gemini was added to his name.

He died on March 22 2005 13.30, in his daughter's residence in nungambakkam chennai, Tamil nadu, at the age of 84.
