In this resource I have tried to explain the problems we are facing in current educational system in India. I have tried to cover all the important mail aspects that influence the rural education in India. I have tried to give my possible solutions which may or may not be acceptable to many of you people. Current Educational Curriculum and content

According to me current educational system in India is like sack of books and tons of home work. I feel Education should be more Practical than of theoretical. Schools have become only for books but not other extra-circular activities are being done at normal schools. The only way to get supremacy over India is break the cultural bonding and destroy their educational system this way what a European ambassador reported to their officials after going round our country and they were successful in doing so. They introduced their teaching style in our country. There are no such chapters in the books which will improve the patriotism in students.

I feel there should a class where they teach our puranas and what was written in holy books so that every student will know about other and will remove any misconceptions if any are having. Even they will teach moral values the best than any other. Business Week denigrates the Indian curriculum saying it revolves around rote learning and Express India suggests that students are focused on cramming. Poverty in India - How it is effecting education in India & My solutions

This is most common problem in rural India. Poverty creates lack of awareness to the parents about education. Parents generally think what my son will do by going to school even many people are unemployed in the country he will be one among them. Rather we can send our lad to some work where he would help us financially. Frankly speaking a person working at some construction site earns more than a normal school teacher through his wages.

The possible solution for above problem in my view is students should be given scholarships in addition to mid-day meal. Even parents who are sending their children to school be honoured or encouraged financially because encouragement gives more energy to continue good deeds.In that way other villagers will learn from them.

Teachers - How they are responsible & My possible solutions

We generally find only government schools in rural India and a few charitable institutions at some places. In government schools most of the teachers will not at all be interested in teaching the students upto their potential. They always think that they can be in a better urban school were get good exposure. One study found out that 25% of public sector teachers in a survey. Among teachers who were paid to teach, absence rates ranged from 15% in Maharashtra to 71% in Bihar.

The possible solution for above problem in my view is teachers issue can be solved easily by giving some incentives to teachers of remote areas. Bonus should be given to teachers regarding their work. Especially we should find dedicated teachers for working at the remote areas than any random one. Persons who are having the passion of teaching can bring more change these cases. Even we can make a compulsory teaching at rural areas for every teacher after their training like what it happens with doctors.

Teaching methodology - Problems is current teaching & My solutions

This is a general problem not only in rural but most of the urban areas. Education technology should be introduced from basic level. So that students will be interested to come to schools to learn new things. Few schools don't even provide secondary education

Teaching methodology should be changed. Introducing computer education which they don't find in the village will definitely create interest among students. More practical based education should be imparted to them. Students should be given exposure about different competitions going.
Government should provide free bus facility to the student who is willing to continue their further studies after their primary level.We can even impart certain rules to rural areas directed to sarpanch for motivating parents about educations and its values. Even teachers should contribute in educating the parents of village about Education and its necessity. They should motivate in a way that education is not only for employment but for gaining knowledge about things.

We have many laws but only problem is no one one to implement the laws strictly.
