Ooty Hill Station of Tamil Nadu
The other name of Ooty is Udhagamandalam. Ooty is also known as The Queen of hill stations in India. It is one of the most attractive places to visit in Tamil Nadu. Many tourists come to this place regularly so it is also most visited hill station in India. Ooty is located 105km far from Coimbatore city which is a famous city Tamil Nadu. The natural scenario of Ooty is mamzing and it is the most attraction point in Ooty. many tourists come to this place in summer season for passing the summer days so it is famous in whole world.
Ooty was founded by the Britishers in 1800 year. The place was not known well before 19th century. In 19th century it was chosen by the Chennai Presidency as summer capital. Ooty is also famous for one more thing such as the first railway track in Southern India was started in Ooty. In Ooty you can take advantage of Steam trains which are not available anywhere in the State. Besides seeing the natural beauty of Ooty you can also take part in Adventurous sports like trekking, para gliding and hiking. Ooty is very good place for these things.

 Botanical Garden of Ooty: Botanical Garden is a very good place in Ooty. You can see many types of beautiful and ornamental flowers here. If you are planning to go Ooty in May month then you can see the Famous flower show of Botanical garden. To see this show many tourists come even if from outside countries also. The Main attraction of Botanical Garden Ooty is Botanical Garden which is known as 20 million years old.
Government Museum: You can see many historical and beautiful things in the Govt Museum of Ooty. All people who are going Ooty should visit once the Govt Museum. It is located on Mysore road. You can see here tribal art efects, ecological details of Ooty, culture, craft and work of the famous district etc.
The Mukurthi Peak & Mukurthi National Park: Mukurthi Peak & Mukurthi National Park are 40kms far from the famous Ooty or Udhagamandalam. Udhagamandalam is located on the foot of Nilgiri's Plateau. The area is very beautiful as Ooty. You can see the famous Silent Valley which is located on the western part of the famous ranges.

How to Reach Ooty by Air: The nearest airport from Ooty is Coimbatore so if you want to go Ooty by Air then you have to go first Coimbatore and then you can go there by Bus or train. Coimbatore airport is well connected to famous cities of India like Chennai, Mumbai and Bangalore etc.
