Biography of Tamil Comedian Actor Goundamani
Goundamani was a famous popular tamil comedian actor in tamil film industry. He was born at 18th march,1950 at Kannampalayam in Coimbatore District. His father was Karupaiah and Mother was Annam. He is basically a Drama artist and then switch over to cinema easily. He married to Shenbagam and have 3 childrens namely Bala, Radha and Shoba.
Goundamani comedy is always insulting comedies in many tamil films. First Goundamani was the most super hit comedian than interested comedian actors Vadivel and Vivek. Actually, his original name is Mani, because of his character "Oor-Gounder" was famous in his stage shows. So he was called as "Goundamani" in tamil film industry.
Career of Goundamani
Goundamani entry into Tamil film industry at the age of 16. He also acted as Hero in 10 films. He ruled over the Tamil film industry from the year 1970 to 2000. Then later entry he acted in few films. His comedy was his stylish and different from others. He doing various stage shows all over Tamilnadu. He always used his own dialogue for his film. He also acted in Villain role in some films.
Goundamani is always used to paired up acting with Comedian actor Senthil in many films. His famous comedy is "Vazhaipazham" joke with Senthil in Karagatakaran. His first movie is "Annakili" released on the year 1976. His every dialogue is very interested and the famous once dialogue is "Arasiyalla idhellam Sagajamappa".
Goundamani has acted more than 300 films in Tamil film industry. He also successfully teamed with toppest actors like Rajinikanth, Kamalhassan, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Jayaram, Karthik, Arjun, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar etc in many films. He also acted in several films with a double role subjects in many films. He is best at every his Nakkal, Lollu, Comedy etc. His comedy was really memorable for every tamil people and unforgettable one. Goundamani comedy spread smile for many people.

| Guest Author: Sishupala 12 Apr 2012 | For a long time, i am searching for the movie in which Goundamani owns a provisional store and a guy comes and asks for Namakatti.
This scene also has this famous dialouge "Aduthavange panathula socialism pesaadheengada, sondha kaasula socialism pesungada". Does anyone know where I can find this scene online or atleast the movie name ?
