Ooty Tour Package – Day One

Departure from Chennai Central Railway Station by Nilagiri Express Train Number 12671, at 21:00 hours(09:00 pm)

Ooty Tour Package – Day Two

The train will be reach at Coimbatore at 05:00 hours, tour operator will arrange pickup from railway station and Tourist will be transferred to Ooty by bus. Once reach Ooty check in to hotel (will be arranged by Tour operator). After breakfast, Tourist will be taken over to Doddabetta peak and Tea Museum, Ooty lake and Ooty Botanical Garden. Sightseeing Place at Ooty - Ooty lake

Ooty Lake is one of the artificial Lake dredged in the year 1823-25. This lake has irregular L Shape and its length will be almost 2 kms. This is excellent place in ooty who loves boat riding. There is a boat house in which Rowing boat and Paddle boat both are available for hire from morning 08:00 am to evening 06:00pm.

Sightseeing Place at Ooty - Dodabetta Peak

Dodabetta Peak is located 10 kilo meters from Ooty. The height of Dodabetta Peak is 2623 meters. We can see thousands of kilometers for plain land and highlands from here. This is peak is always misty; There is a telescope house that is run by Tamilnadu Tourism Development Corporation in the Dodapetta Peak. We can see beautiful view around dodabetta peak from this telescope.

Sightseeing Place at Ooty - Ooty Botanical Garden

Ooty Botanical garden is unforgettable place in Ooty. There is plenty of plants which will be great pleasure to our eyes and mind. This garden and its fragrance will never go way from out of our mind once we visit Ooty. Botanical garden is covering an extensive area of 55 Acres; which is home to more than 650 spices of plants and trees. There is some rare seen trees line cork tree, Paper bark tree and monkey puzzle tree. Monkey puzzle tree has been named because even monkey failed to claim up on this tree. Ooty botanical garden is great gift to our eyes.

Sightseeing Place at Ooty – Pykara Falls and Lake

Pykara Falls is located 19km from Ooty. The river has Dam and power plant. The pykara power plant is the highest plan in Asia. While travelling and enjoying at pykara don't forget to take some warm clothing to wear. Boating facilitiy is also available at Pykara falls. Pykara Falls and Lake is one of the Film shooting spot. This is very excellent photographic place and very nice place to enjoy nature.

Sightseeing Place at Ooty – Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park

Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary & National Park is situated at Mudumalai; Western Ghats and the Nilgiri Mountains. The Sanctuary has 321 sq. km and Nation Park has 108 sq. km area. In 1940 Mudumalai was established as a Wildlife sanctuary. We can see rare seen animals in sanctuary like Gaur, Pytons, Otter, Four Horned Antelope, Giant Flying Squirrel and Hyena etc. we can see beautiful birds we never seen in my life like Malabar Grey Hornbill, Racket-Tailed Dronge, Green Pigeons, Magpie-robin and brown dove etc. We can go for Elephant safari in Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary. Everyone should go to the Wildlife Sanctuary at least once in their life time, that much beautiful animals and birds are there in Mudumalai.

Ooty Tour Package – Day Four

Check out Hotel at Ooty and the tourist Transfer to Coonoor by bus. There is a train to coonoor at 9.00 am; If the tourist wants to go by train they can go by their own cost. At Coonoor tourist will taken over to visit Sims Park, Lambs Rock, and Dolphins Nose. After that visit tourist will be transferred to Coimbatore railway station by bus by 07:30 pm. End of the trip the tourist will be safely transferred to Chennai by Nilagiri Express by 08.30 pm from Coimbatore; the train will reach Chennai by fifth day morning at 05.10 am.

Sightseeing Place at Coonoor– Sims Park

Sims Park is located at Coonoor and it is suited 1780meters above sea level. Coonoor is always coolest place here maximum temperature is about 30 centigrade and minimum will be 5 centigrade. There are beautiful rare seen spice trees, plants, and flowers in Sims Park. The entrance ticket will be charged Rs. 2 for children and Rs. 5 for Adult. This is very nice photographic place.

Sightseeing Place at Coonoor– Lamb's Rock

Lamb's Rock is located 9 kms from coonoor busstand on the way to Dolphins Nose. This is excellent sightseeing place at coonoor; gives splendid views of plains Coimbatore and tea states of surrounding area. The rock is a sheer precipice of rock drops down several hundred feet to bury itself in the luxuriant jungle below.

Sightseeing Place at Coonoor– Dolphins Nose

Dolphins Nose is suited about 12 kms. From Coonoor bus stand near Tiger Hills. It is unique rock juts out; which resembles dolphin's nose that's why the name comes. There is excellent view of ravines and st. caterine's falls around dolphin's nose.
