People always like to do the delicious and simple Tamil recipes. The below method of Tamil non veg cooking is very easy and tasty too.

Ingredients for Tamil Nadu Style Mutton Biryani Recipe


Mutton - 2 kg
Basmathi rice - 6 cups
Oil - 5 cups
Cloves - 10 in number
Cardamom – 10 number
Cinnamon- 2 long size
Nutmeg powdered - as required
Black Cardamom - 2
Bayleaf – 2 number
Big size Onions - 8
Tomato(medium) - 8
Ginger – 4 c.m sized
Garlic – 100gm
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Mint leaves – 1/2 small bunch
Curd - 10 tbsp
Green chillies - 12 in number
Chilly powder - 2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 2 tsp


Tamil Nadu Style Mutton Biryani Recipe


1) Take a heavy bottom cooker, pour some oil and heat the oil. Then add the Biryani spices, stil nicely. spices are very important to get the exact taste of Tamil Nadu Style Mutton Biryani Recipe.

2) Cut all the onions into thin slices, fry with the spices and continue stirring until it becomes golden brown.

3)Clean the ginger and garlic, make this as a fine paste then add this with the onions and fry well.

4) Wash and chop the mutton pieces into medium sized, add this and fry well for about 10 min. stir it properly.

5)Cut all the tomatoes into thin, and add it to the mutton and leave it for about 10, then add a pinch of salt to bring the tomato juice out.

6) With this add all types of biryani masala powders and stir for about 3 mins. When the mutton is cooked half, and then add the curd and stir well.

7) Then add the rice with double amount of water, mix well and add required amount of salt. Close the lid tightly for about 5 mins in high flame.

8. Leave it in sim for 5 min or you can do dum to get the exact tamil Nadu style mutton biryani Recipe.

9. Serve the biriyani with kuruma or you can have this vegetable or onion salad. This is very delicious Tamilnadu food.
