    Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation


    Long distance bus services in Tamil Nadu is controlled by Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation which connects all the headquarters of districts. TNSTC operates the buses if the destination exceeds 250KM. SETC also provides connectivity to adjoining states like Andhra, Karnataka & Keraka. SETC provides the following bus services

    1. Semi deluxe buses
    2. Super Deluxe Buses
    3. Video Coach Buses
    4. Ultra Deluxe Buses
    5. Air Suspension Buses

    How to Reserve tickets in SETC(State Express Transport Corporation)?


    Reservation facility is available for SETC buses. SETC doesn't offer online reservation but we can reserve from SETC counter in person.

    Details of Reservation Rules in SETC

    1. We can reserve tickets in 30days advance.
    2. Reservation Time – 7:00 AM – 21:00 PM
    3. Half tickets for the children who are between 3yrs to 12 years

    Cancellation and Refund rules in SETC
    1. 10% of the bus fare will be deducted if we cancel the tickets before 48hrs of schedule time of the bus departure.

    2. 20% of the bus fare will be deducted if we cancel the tickets between 24Hrs & 48hrs of schedule time of the bus departure

    3. 25% of the bus fare will be deducted if we cancel the tickets between 30minss & 24Hrs of schedule time of the bus departure

    4. 50% of the bus fare will be deducted if we cancel the tickets just before 30mins or after the departure time of the bus.
