    Valentine's Day is celebrating on February 14 in the name of priest Saint Valentine who lived in Rome in the period of 270 AD. In is considered as one of the festivals in Tamilnadu by youth. This romantic festival is a memory of the great service of Saint Valentine, who had a romantic heart. There is a custom that exchange of love notes called 'Valentines' by lovers in Valentine's Day festival. The custom initially began in 1415 by Charles, Duke of Orleans sending first known Valentine Day card to his lovable better half from prison. The sources according to the status of greeting cards say that Valentine's Day is the second biggest festival when people are greeting each other by sending greeting cards after Christmas. As Valentine's Day is a festival of True love, presenting flowers especially rose which is symbol of love and giving chocolates , other sweets, other favorite gifts etc are the part of its traditions. As Valentine's Day as an expression of love, in India, people utilizes this love day to express their love to their opposite lover for the first time.
