Story of Dhanush Aadukalam Movie Brief story of Dhanush Aadukalam

Tamil movie Aadukalam is truly based on the real life incidents which took place in Madurai back in 1970. It is movie which focuses mainly on rooster cook fights and the people who are involved in the sport. Aadukalam Story starts when Karuppu(Dhanush) go against the will of his mentor for the cock fight. As everyone knows Dhanush is well known for his classy character in Tamil movies, but in Aadukalam movie you will witness Dhanush in the role of a rustic Karuppu which is a mass character who engages himself in cock fights. With his body language and dialogue delivery I must say he has suited perfectly well to the character karuppu. Tamil debutant herione Tapsee Pannu plays an Anglo-Indian in the film.

Analysis of Dhanush Aadukalam Movie

First half Aadukalam of the movie is far better than compared to the second half of the movie. Dhanush Aadukalam is such a kind of movie which needs slow narration but the movie is impressed equally with Dhanush performance. First half of the Aadukalam movie is all about how Dhanush and his friend Vettiakaran who called to be the king in rooster fights gets involved in fight with the other community who were also called to be the kings in their community. First half ends with the fight between the two groups. The interesting part of Aadukalam movie is that there is no villain. The movie all about how people behave to a situation and their envy.

Second half of Aadukalam is all about w hat happens when Karrupu goes against the will of his mentor Vettaikaran.

Technical assets of Dhanush Aadukalam Movie

Aadukalam Music director G.V. Prakash gave an excellent music in this filim. The Aadukalam Music carries the movie from the beginning to the end with the background music. You can see GV magic in the finals of the rooster fight tournament. Songs like 'Yaathe' and 'Otha Sollala' has turned out to be super hits in the Tamil movie industry. G.V. Prakash had given the necessary breath to the visuals.

Stunts by Rambo Rajkumar & Rajasekar are excellent. The climax fight between Dhanush and Kishore is choreographed exactly same way as two cooks fight. The dialogues by Vikram Sugumaran and Vetrimaaran are decent.

Verdict of the Dhanush Aadukalam Movie : Watch it! Watch it for visuals, Dhanush acting and for cock fights.
