Mini Biography of A.R.Rahman

A.R.Rahman was born to a music affiliated family of madras in 1966. He started learning piano at the age of 4 and in his 9th age his father passed away. Since his burden of making his family falled on his head he joined the troupe of Isai Gyani Ilayaraja's as a keyboard player at the age of 11. He travelled aroud the world with various orchestra's. He accompanied great tabla maestro Zakir Hussain and also he won a scholarship at Trinity School of Music at Oxford College and passed out a degree in Western Music.. In 1987 A.R.Rhamn moved to an advertising where he composed 300 music for ads. In 1989 he started a small studio called Panchathan Record Inn and later developed into well-equipped recording theatre.

In 1992 he came into film industry with debuti in Manirathnam's film named Roja(1992) for which he was awarded too with national award for his best music quality. Thereafter he came out with many good films and best among them are :
