    National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2011


    Medical Council of India known as MCI has released the notification regarding the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) is must MBBS and PG medical courses admissions in medical colleges in Tamilnadu and in India. In the previous notification of MCI, it stated that marks in maths in HSC public exams also be taken in to account for admission in Medical courses in Tamilnadu and in India.

    New Admission procedure in medical colleges in Tamilnadu


    After the NEET exam , All India rank and State rank list will be by considering the marks in NEET exam. According to the notification of MCI ,

    Minimum eligible mark to get MBBS seats in Tamilnadu and in India

    • 50% for general category.

    • 40% for SC, ST and OBC category.

    • 45% for disabled person category.
