    This articles brief about jallikattu and its prone.

    Jallikattu is one of the ancient event happenning in Tamilnadu. This will happen on maattu pongal (Next day of Pongal i.e Uzhavar Thirunal). In this event the bull will be set to run in the ground or tied to a long rope. Then men will try to control the running and movements of the bull. Alanganallur and Madurai is very famous for Jallikattu.

    Some times to increase the power of bull lot of alcoholic stuff will be give n to the bull which is more dangeros to the men who all are trying to catch it. This is considered as an event to prove how a man is courageous and brave enough. In olden day this event is even used to decide whether a guy is capable of marrying a girl.

    Though it is functioning for longer period this is high time to think about its future. Though government and lot of NGOs trying to stop this event, in many places this event is happening every year.

    Major drawback of this event is the animal is illtreated and event some time beaten to death if it is lost in the event. On the other hand every year more than hundreds of men got severely injured and even many lost their lives in this event leaving their family in a pathetic sitiuation.

    In the current situation we have lot of ways to prove our courage and brave Example - Not giving bribe, Following the rules proper, Electing the deserved canditate to rule the state and country,make the environment and mind clean.So in my perspective this kind of event has to be stopped though it has been considered as our culture. Culture means set of prototypes or events which help the human races to live a happy and peaceful life. Though this is an ancient culture which fails to make the people happy that itself more than enough to stop these kind of events
