Shakti Television channel is a tamil TV channel of Sri Lanka. MTV Channel (Pvt) Limited, the premier private television network of Sri Lanka is now having a Tamil TV channel in its network. Owner of Shakti TV channel of Sri lanka is Maharaja Broadcasting Corporation (MBC).

Shakti Tv channel is the first Tamil TV channel of Sri lanka. Though at present there are two more Tamil channels in Sri Lanka like Vettri TV, Tamil TV channel of Sri lanka owned by Rupavahini Group and other is Vasantham TV, Tamil TV channel of Sri lanka owned by the Independent Television Network. These two channels are under control of Government of Sri Lanka.

Shakti TV is a private Tamil TV channel broadcasting on a UHF frequency from 05.30 to 00.00. t is a complete entertaining channel having programs like Tamil serials, Kollywood songs and movies etc.
