How A.P.J Abdul Kalam spent his Childhood Days

A.P.J Abdul Kalam was born on 15.10.1931 to he couples Jainulabudeen and Aayisha. His Abdul Kalam family background was poor and they lived in a meager income from the boat-making occupation of his father. Though he is poor, he is inspired to study and too create new techniques.He was best in maths during his school days. He completed his school life and came out from hte school named Schwartz Higher secondary school ,Ramanathapuram.

After finishing his schooling joined B.Sc in St.Joseph college Trichy. He graduated from there in 1953 and joined M.I.T for Aeronautical Engineering and further he moved on from there in 1957. Kalam joined Directorate of Technical Development and Production(air) as a Senior scientific Assistant for a salary of $50 in 1958. In 1961 He joined India Committee for Space Research as a Rocket Engineer . His successful SLV-3 launch came in 1980. Hence he was awarded Padma Bushan in 1981.

A.P.J Abdul Kalam as a Missile Man

In 1982 A.P.J Abdul Kalam was appointed as Director of Integrated Guided Missile Development Programme. He was awarded Padma Vibushan in 1990 for his great contribution in Indian missile Technology. He was appointed as the nations Chief Scientific Advisor in 1992. He played an important technical and political Role in nuclear test Pokhran -II in 1998 after smiling Buddha. He was popularly known as Missile Man of India for his work on development of ballistic missiles and space technology.

In 2002 Abdul Kalam was elected as the president of India ,the first citizen of the nation. Thereafter his work towards the progress of nation was very high. He promoted the nation not only on the basis of Science but also the financial position was also increased. As a President he contributed much for nations welfare and he made the new idea for India Vision 2020 and made it as secret of success for each student of the nation.Finally when he came out of Rashtrapathi Bhavan in 2007 he had just two suitcases one full of his books collection and other one of his clothing.Thus he proved to be humble and man of simplicity.
