• Application forms of TNPSC 2011 will be available at all Head Post Offices in Tamilnadu.
• TNPSC 2011 application form are also available on selected Sub-Post Offices in Tamil Nadu/Puducherry
• Candidates can also apply online through the official website.

TNPSC 2011 Eligibility criteria

• Age limit for TNPSC 2011 : Candidate should be between 18 and 30 years of age as on July 1st 2009 for general candidates.
• In certain departments lower and upper age limit may be different. Please confirm with the authorities before applying.
• For SC/ST candidates there is no upper age limit
• Education qualification for TNPSC 2011: Regarding educational qualifications details will be provided once admission notification is announced.
• Important Note: The candidate should also possess adequate knowledge of Tamil.

Important dates of TNPSC 2011

• TNPSC 2011 written exam : First week of May, 2011
• Availability of Application Form of TNPSC 2011: second week of November, 2010
• Last date for receipt of TNPSC 2011 Online Application or TNPSC 2011 application form : First week of February, 2011.

Selection Procedure of TNPSC 2011

• Candidates have to write the TNPSC 2011 examination which has 300 marks and should complete in 3 hours duration.
• Question paper of TNPSC is divided into 2 parts, Part 1: General Knowledge (Degree Std.) & General Tamil / General English.
• In Part 2 candidates have the option to either attempt General Tamil or General English questions.
• Both the parts will be of 150 marks each containing 100 questions each.
• Oral examination of TNPSC for 40 marks will also conducted.
