Ingredients required for Takkali kurma ( Tomato kuruma )
takkali kuruma

• Takkali –4nos
• Coconut – ½ cup
• Chutney parupu – ½ cup
• Chopped Onions – ½ cup
• Oil – 2 tsp
• Green chilli – 1 sp
• Red chilli powder – 1sp
• Curry leaves – 1 sp
• Mustard seeds – 1 sp
• Asafoetida – 1 sp
• Turmeric – little pinch
• Garlic
• Salt for our requirement

Preparation method of Takkali kurma( Tomato kuruma )

1. Take frying pan and add oil .
2. Add Mustard seeds, Asafoetida, Curry leaves gently stir that.
3. Now add chopped onions and green chilli and gently stir till onions turns to for light brown colour.
4. Add tomato puree ( Ground Tomato) and coconut- Garlic – chutney parupu mixed paste, turmeric , salt, red chilli powder and water and its boil it for 10 minutes .

Now delicious tamil recipe Takkali kuruma is ready . We can taste this with chappathi and also with rice.
