Vikram has completed his school studies in Monfort School, Yercaud. Vikram had acted many dramas in his school days.

Vikram did his graduation in English from Layola College, Chennai. He also completed his MBA in the same college.

Career of Tamil Actor Vikram

Vikram has started his career from the Tamil movie En Kadhal Kanmani during the year of 1990. But the movie didn't do well in box office. After that he acted few low budget films inTamil, Teugu and Malayalam.But he was unable to taste the success for almost a decade. Vikram has tasted his first success in the film industry through the movie Sethu during the year of 1999. After Sethu, Vikram had tasted so many successes in his career in terms of critical and commercial.

After Sethu, Vikram acted in Dhill lwhich was directed by his close friend Dharani. The film did very well commercially. During the year of 2002, Vikram acted a movie Kaasi which is a remake of Malayam Movie. In Kaasi Vikram acted as a blind man. This got good credit to VIkram in terms of Performance and Commercial.

Vikram again acted in Dharani's direction in the film Dhool . Dhool became a blockbuster movie. Later he acted Bala's Pithamagan. Vikram got many Awards for Pithamagan. In 2005, Vikram acted in Anniyan which was directed by ace director Shankar. Vikram did multiple personality character in Anniyan.

The latest release of Vikram is Raavanan in Tamil and Raavan in Hindi which was released simultaneously in 2010.
