Ingredients Required for Tamil Nadu Chicken Biryani Recipe
Chicken - 1 kg
Basmathi rice - 4 cups
Green chillies(small) - 8 nos
Cloves(Grambu in Tamil) - 6 nos
Cinnamon(Karugapatta In Tamil) sticks - 4 nos
Brinji leaves as required
Onion - 4 nos
Tomato - 4 nos
Ginger-garlic paste - 4 tsp
Cashew nut - 20 nos
Mint leaves(Pudhina) - 1 bunch
Red chilly powder as required
Ghee as required
Oil as required
Coconut milk - 4 cups
Salt - As required
Preparation of Tamil Nadu Style Chicken Biryani Recipe
are always excellent in Taste. This is the method to
cook Tamil Nadu Style Chicken Biryani Recipe
Make ginger garlic as paste with that add red chilly powder and salt mix it.
Cut and marinate the cleaned chicken with ginger garlic as paste paste for about an hour.
Pour some oil in a pan and add the chicken and fry well, keep it aside.
Make a paste of 4 green chillies cashews by grinding nicely and keep it aside.
Take a Pressure cooker and pore some oil and Ghee, add cinnamon, cloves, 4 green chillies, 5 brinji leaves, fry well to get golden brown colour.
Then add finely chopped onions fry well with this add 2 tsp of ginger-garlic paste and stir well.
After 2 minutes add the chillies - cashew paste to it and stir for about 5 minutes.
Then add the chopped tomatoes and pudhina Mint leaves,stir for about for 1 minutes.
Then add 4 cups of coconut (necessary to get the

) the milk and 3 cups of water,add 1 tsp of red chilly powder and salt to taste.
Mix this nicely then add the Basmathi rice into the cooker and leave it to boil for 2-3 minutes.
Then add the fried chicken into the cooker with Rice and mix well and close the container.Just 1 whistle is enough.
