Ladies in the house also takes this day as the great opportunity to buy jewels for them. When the pooja works are over by the women they get home and then take rest after eating together.

And there are also many other ways the worship will be performed. On the day of Aadiperukku festivals the people will woke up early and prepare different kinds of food. Kalandha sadham is one of the famous foods which is called as the variety rice in English. This rice is prepared with some sweet also for the purpose of taste. After the food items are over the day is spent by visiting the special places on that day. It will be very colorful and pleasant seeing both the men and women on the auspicious day.
