Vikatan Group was started by S.S.Vasan in the year of 1928. Initially he purchased a humor magazine and named it as a Anandha Vikatan. Now a days many Weekly and Bi Monthly magazines are coming from Vikatan Group. Vikatan Group is one of the icon of Tamil magazine industry.
