Vacancy in BSNL Details

BSNL will recruit Junior Telecom Officers (JTOs) through Special Recruitment Drive (SRD) for Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in Telecom, Civil and Electrical Streams through an open Competitive Examination in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 16400-40500. BSNL comprises of 27 Recruitment Circles and these circles are in the process of filling up of backlog vacancies reserved for PWD.

Junior Telecom Officers (JTOs)posts available : 213 posts in 27 recruiting circles with a Pay Scale of Rs. 16400-40500 (IDA Pattern),

Age limit for BSNL junior Telecom Officers: 30 years. Relaxation For PWD candidates upto 10 years for OC candidate; 15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC,

Qualification for applying for Junior Telecom Officers : Applicant must possess as on 31.12.2010, Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following Disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university in above mentioned degrees.

Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply provided they possess the required educational qualification by 31.12.2010.

Question Paper for BSNL Chennai Recruitment Jobs | Junior Telecom Officers Recruitment Question Paper

The mode of selection is through an All India Competitive Examination. The examination will be of 3 hours duration with one Question Paper containing the following three sections :-

For JTOs Telecom
Section-I : Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Ability Test : 20 Questions.

For JTOs (Electrical)
Section-I : Electrical Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Electrical Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Awareness : 20 questions

For JTOs (Civil)
Section-I : Civil Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Civil Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Ability Test : 20 questions

Bond criteria for BSNL Chennai Recruitment Jobs 2010 - 2011

Training and Bond: All candidates provisionally recruited shall execute Bonds in the format specified by the BSNL indicating their willingness to serve the Circle allotted and Corporation for a period of at least 5 years from the date of their appointment as JTOs.

The completed application form should be sent by Registered post to the CGM concerned. The envelope containing application form should be marked "Application for J.T.Os (Telecom) Examination-2010 for PWD" OR "Application for J.T.Os (Civil) Examination-2010 for PWD" OR "Application for J.T.Os (Electrical) Examination-2010 for PWD", as the case may be, in bold letters on top of the envelope.
