Examination Pattern of TNPCEE | Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examinations


TNPCEE consists of six papers. The candidates have to appear in these papers according to the program they aspire to study. Same goes with engineering stream. The six papers of TNPCEE consists of
    1. Biology
    2. Physical Sciences (Questions in Physics and Chemistry)
    3. Mathematics
    4. Related Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)
    5. Vocational Subjects (For Vocational stream candidates)
    6. Aptitude Test in Architecture (Compulsory for B. Arch. Candidates

TNPCEE Exam Paper for Medical Candidates


If the candidate want to pursue his career in medical he/she has to write 2 papers.
    Paper 1: Physical Science(Physics+Chemistry) 120 Questions 50 Marks
    Paper 2: Biology 90 Questions 50 Marks

While considering TNPCEE rank in Tamilnadu academic marks also taken into consideration. Academic marks in Physics +Chemistry will be taken as 100 +100 and Biology as 100 marks. Marks obtained in TNPCEE will be for 100. Ranking of the candidates will be done based on the total marks to a maximum of 300.

TNPCEE Exam Paper for Engineering and Technology Candidates

If the candidate want to pursue his career in Engineering and Technology stream he/she has to write 2 papers.
    Paper 1: Physical Science(Physics+Chemistry) 120 Questions 50 Marks
    Paper 2: Mathematics 90 Questions 50 Marks

While considering rank in Tamilnadu academic marks also taken into consideration. Academic marks in Physics +Chemistry will be taken as 100 +100 and Mathematics as 100 marks. Marks obtained in TNPCEE will be for 100. Ranking of the candidates will be done based on the total marks to a maximum of 300.

Tamil Nadu Government cancelled TNPCEE for the past few years. Higher Secondary Exam marks only has been considered for Annan University's Single Window System. This article may misguide someone.
