This resource will give you the information of MCA question paper pattern & eligibility of TANCET which is conducted by Tamilnadu government. MCA question paper is divided in 4 sections to be attempted in 2 hrs.

MCA TANCET Exam Pattern

For MCA question paper in TANCET Exam there will be 100 objective type questions divided in 4 sections to be attempted in 2 hrs. The sections are -

1. Quantitative Ability
2. Analytical reasoning
3. Logical reasoning
4. Computer awarenes
Apart from these sections there will be questions on verbal activity, basic science etc. Each question will be provided with 4 possible answers & you have the select the correct one. The Candidate has to choose the correct answer and shade the appropriate circle against the question in the answer sheet with pencil/ ball point pen (black or blue).Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark & for each wrong answer 1/4 mark will be deducted. Marks will not be deducted for the questions left unanswered.The weightage of negative marking is changing form year to year.

MCA Eligibility for TANCET Exam

1. Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university/institute.
2. Candidates who have Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year duration (10+2+3 or 4 years pattern) in any discipline with Mathematics or Business Mathematics at +2 level can apply.
3. Candidates in their final year/awaiting their results can also apply.
4. Candidates who have done their bachelor's degree after doing their diploma can also apply.
