MBA Question Pattern in TANCET

The MBA Question Paper in TANCET will have 100 objective type questions to be attempted in 2 hrs. Each question will have five alternate answers, with one correct answer. Student have to pick up one correct answer in 5. The MBA question paper of TANCET consists of 5 sections on the topics given below:

1. Typical business situations - The purpose of this is to evaluate the candidate's ability to identify critically the data.

2. Reading Comprehension - The purpose of this section is to evaluate the skill of the candidate in answering questions.

3. Solving Mathematics problems - The purpose of this is to evaluate the skill on solving mathematical problems at graduate level. The questions also includes those learnt in class 12 or equivalent.

4. Verbal ability - The purpose of this section is to test the knowledge on written English with questions on errors in usage, grammar, punctuation and the like. Questions will be based on errors in usage of English, grammar and punctuation.

5. Data sufficiency - Questions based on data sufficiency and use of facts of day-to-day.

How marks are awarded in MBA TANCET

There will be negative marking for incorrect answer. For each wrong answer, 1/5 mark (negative marking will be vary form year to year) will be deducted & each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.
