Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Procedure Details


Issue of Kendriya Vidyalaya Admission Forms : Applications for admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya will be issued from 26th July, 2010 on the school premises.

Last date for submission of Kendriya Vidyalaya Application Form: 2nd August, 2010 (by 12.30 p.m.).

Cost of the Kendriya Vidyalaya application form: Rs. 100

Eligibility for Kendriya Vidyalaya Exam


1. Initially, the school will have classes up to fifth standard.

2. For children who have completed 5 years of age as on 31st March, 2010 were eligible to be admitted to first standard.

3. For children seeking admission to 2nd and 3rd standards should have completed 6 and 7 years of age respectively as on March 31, 2010.

4. For children seeking admission to 4th and 5th classes should have completed 8 and 9 years of age respectively as on 30th September, 2010.

Entrance Exam for Kendriya Vidyalaya


After doing a brief verification of applications, eligible children would be declared by the office before 3rd August and would have to sit for an entrance exam on 4th August, 2010 and 5th August, 2010.

Declaration Kendriya Vidyalaya Entrance Exam Results

: The list of selected candidates would be published on the school premises at 3 p.m. on 10th August, 2010.
