A NEW SINGLE WINDOW ADMISSION CENTRE INAUGURATED IN MADRAS UNIVERSITY


 

A new single window admission center in Chennai for the students of distance education of madras university was inaugurated recently in chennai.

Speakiing at the inaugural function for single window admission center in Chennai, the vice chancellor of Anna university , Mr. Thiruvasagam said the new single window admission center was mainly opened to help students who come from far off places.

Earlier,the students had to spend nearly one full day in the distance education department to get their identity cards, study materials, and to complete all other formalities.

With the inauguration of Single window admission center for Engineering students, all these formalities would be completed in ten minutes.

The Study materials would be sent to the candidates to their respective homes.

The university would offer a discount of 20 percent in tuition fee for women and defence personnel.

The physically challenged candidates need not pay any tuition fee. They need to pay only the exam fee.

This single window admission centre will work on all the days except on national holidays.
