Topslip is a small area in Indira Gandhi National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. The Height of the Topslip from the sea level is 800 feet. It is located in Anaimalai hills. Topslip is an ideal tourist spot of Tamilnadu.

How to Reach Topslip Coimbatore

The nearest town of topslip Coimbatore is Pollachi. Pollachi is located 40km away from Coimbatore. Topslip is 35Km from entry point of Indira Gandhi National Park. Regular bus services are available to Pollachi from Coimbatore as well as from Palani. Everyday 2 buses one at 6am and another at 3pm leaving from Pollachi to Topslip. Return time of these buses are 8am and 6pm. Lots cabs/taxis are also available from Pollachi to Topslip.

Nearest Railway Station from Topslip – Pollachi (30KM from Topslip)

Entry fee for Top slip Coimbatore is Rs 50, from the Indira Gandhi National Park to Topslip.

Sedhumadai check post is the entry point to Indira Gandhi National Park to Topslip.

Accommodation in Topslip

Private accommodation is not available in Topslip. Forest Department has managed all the accommodations.

If we want to stay at Topslip then we have to book the accommodation in in Top slip Coimbatore in the following address during Monday to Friday (9am to 5pm)

Best Time to visit Topslip

May – June and October – February is the best time to visit Topslip.

Things to be taken care during Topslip visit

1. Have to take sufficient number of Snacks items and first aid medicines.
2. Permission and Accommodation should be booked advance from t he forest department
3. Most of the mobile network wont' work. Have to plan accordingly
4. It would be too good if we have a private vehicle like Car.
