The portions of the schools that come under these two categories are decided by the Directorate of School Educations. Board exams in Tamil Nadu (X and XII std's) are conducted by the Directorate of School Educations, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Both private schools and Govt. Schools come under this particular category. The Syllabus not only helps the children in building strong educational knowledge but also prepares him to face this competitive world.

CBSE schools in Tamil Nadu

CBSE Schools in Tamil Nadu are governed by the Central board of Education, India. CBSE schools are different from the State board and matriculation schools in Tamil Nadu as the syllabus varies. Tamil Nadu state holds it a matter of pride to have most of the CBSE toppers in the board exams, conducted all over India.
