Political life of Vaiko

Debut party of Vaiko was DMK which is headed by Kalaingar karunanidhi. Vaiko was elected to Rajya sabha thrice by DMK leadership. Vaiko is well known as one of the supporters of LTTE in the LTTE Sri lankan Tamilian issue. Interesting news about him was Vaiko's meeting with LTTE leader Supremo prabaharan in the Jungles of vavuniya.

In 1994, He was Vaiko's expel from DMK and then he became the founder of MDMK. Vaiko's Loksabha victories in 1999 were was the talk of the town then. He was arrested under the Prevention of Terrorist Activities Act in 2002 because of his support to LTTE.
