Kodaikaanal:

Kodaikaanal is one of the best tourist places of Tamilnadu. There are so many reasons for that. Kodalkaanal is one of the hill stations of Tamilnadu that can be used to be visited during the summer. In the begging, this spot was attracted only for the better climate with Kodaikaanal. But now, the added features of Kodaikaanal, has added advantages to this place and now, Kodaikaanal has become the tourist place for all the seasons. Boat club:

If you have a visit to Kodaikaanal, you can definitely find some vehicles with the front banner carrying the name of a college. This park is fully decorated with flowers. This botanical park has lot of flowers, trees with green covered ground, hybrids etc., There are lot more sightseeing views, photographic views with this park. The fully grass covered ground is giving the kids coming as a customer here. The famous Flower exhibition is conducted in this park every year.

Shenbaganus Museum:

The power of this museum is the collection of the multiple varieties of butterflies and stuffed-birds. The large wide infra structure of this museum has about 300 different kinds of species in specimen boxes. This museum which is one of the biggest Orchitorium of the Tamilnadu state is located at 5 KM distance from the lake where the Boat club is situated. Some rare case birds are also kept in this museum.

Coaker's walk:

The walking space which is constructed at the verges of the hill to have a walk by sightseeing is one of the added advantages of Kodaikaanal. As this path was founder by Mr.Coaker, it is called so. The entry fees around 40Rs per head are collected per head to have a walk on this path. The following places can be seen during the walk.

Lake view:

A 5 KM long lake is in Kodaikaanal. This lake has been serving a great view for the visitors of Kodaikaanal. The source for the water of this lake is the rain that pours during the raining season of Tamilnadu (October). Since this lake is very deep there are lots of sign boards and caution alerts are launched around this lake by the management of the Tamilnadu Tourism who are maintaining Kodaikaanal as one of the best tourist places of Tamilnadu for years.

Pillar rock:

These natural rocks are standing in the midst of the mountains that are around the hills of Kodaikaanal. These rocks are situated at 8 KM away from the lake of Kodaikaanal we discussed above. There is a barricaded path and sightseeing spot has been constructed right opposite to the rocks. When you come to the exact place and have a look when the clouds are not there, these rocks with crawling clouds will get us to think like a couple is standing over there. There are so many shops located at this spot to sell some tourist items like cap.

Kurinji

Kurinji Andavar temple:

This temple is located at 3 KM far from the lakes. This is a Murugan temple and has relation with the faith related with one of the rare flower Kurinji that are flowering once in 12 years. The Palani temple which is far away from Kodaikaanal can be viewed from Kodaikaanal.
