Ooty Hill Station


Ooty is one of the popular Tourist spot in Tamil Nadu, Ooty is getting visitors throughout the year, but the crowd is much during summer. The moth from March toMay is the season in Ooty. The World famous Flower show in Ooty is conducted usually in May.

This year 113th flower show at Ooty Botanical garden will be on May 23.This is really a visual treat for all tourists and flower lovers who planned to go for a trip to ooty. Tourists from world wide are eagerly waiting to see this flowers parade, probably this year one million flowers on display which includes daisies, lilies, roses and orchids are ready to bloom in the hill resort of Ooty.

Attractions in Ooty Flower Show 2010


The major attractions at Ooty flower show 2010 are a 60 feet long aeroplane beautifully decorated with 8000 different colored roses. Giant car, length is 50 feet and model train is also decorated with verity of flowers.There are so many rare and different flowers like blue orchids, the green lilies which you can not see and enjoy anywhere.

The blooming flowers in pleasant weather are definitely going to hit the heart tourists, who already planned their trip to Hill station Ooty this time to escape the heat of hot summer. The expected tourist crowd will be 5, 00,000. The budget hotels in Ooty and Popular Resorts in Ooty are ready with necessary arrangements to fulfill the basic needs of tourists. Annual flower production of India is about 1,000 tones. Excess flowers are sent to Amsterdam and then they are distributed to other European countries.
