Exam Details - Amrita University Engineering Entrance Exam AEEE 2012
Amrita University is multi-campus(Amritapuri, Coimbatore, Bangalore) academic and research university where courses are offered in 15 different schools. Amrita University conducts entrance exams across the country for admission to B.Tech. programmes in eight branches. Seat allotment in Amrita University is done through counseling and the order is decided by the rank obtained in AEEE 2012. Exam is counducted in 3 campuses of Amrita University (Coimbatore, Bangalore and Kollam).

The candidates who are applying for AEEE 2012 have to qualify the following criteria: • Age criteria for AEEE 2012 : Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July 1991.It implies that the candidate should be minimum 21 years of age.
• Educational Qualification for AEEE 2012: A pass in the final examination of 10+2 ( class XII )
• Equivalent qualification with a minimum of 60% marks separately in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Candidates who are appearing for final year examinations can also apply.

Examination Pattern of Amrita University Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE 2012)• The Amrita University question paper is an objective type question paper.
• The candidate has to choose the correct answer out of 4 possible answers.
• The question paper of Amrita University has 120 questions
• Each question carries 3 marks which makes total of 360 marks)1.Mathematics 60 questions 120 marks
2. Physics 30 questions 90 marks
3. Chemistry 30 questions 90 marks. • Duration of the exam is 3 hours.
