Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE 2012) Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wants to apply for VITEEE 2012 should have passed 10+2 exam can apply. The candidates who are appearing for 12th exam can also apply. Candidates who wants to apply for engineering courses should have minimum 60% of marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM / PCB). For students who are interested in medical courses should have aggreate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCM / PCB).

Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE 2012) Exam Pattern

VIT entrance exam question paper is divided into 4 parts Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology. Each part has 40 questions and carries 1 mark each. NO NEGATIVE MARKS for wrong answers. The duration of VITEEE 2012 is 2hrs 30 minutes. The candidate has to select between Mathematics and Biology based on interest of joining in Engineering or Medical courses.
