Tamil organisation released stamp in US

A US-based Tamil activist organization called Tamils for obama, is releasing a first-class postage stamp having price ($0.44).This stamp has been released for sending letters in US itself.

spokesperson for the organization said while talking with media "U.S. Postal Service (USPS) recently decided to allow American citizens to design and market their own postage stamps. We decided make use of this opportunity to show respect to the Tamils who have suffered destruction to life and property in Sri Lanka ".

The spokesperson also added that their main goal is to bring Tamil struggle in front of common citizen of US.

Stamps will be available online through Tamils for Obama website soon, the spokesperson said.
