Hi,
Erode is to be turmeric city as much of the cultivation of turmeric for the country comes from the surronding places of Erode. The turmeric cultured here are used only little for cooking but most of it goes for production of medicines and making dyes for the textile companies that are situated in Erode and surrounding districts. Turmeric is a natural medicine and it has an important in place in the Ayurvedic System of medicine which is the ancient systems of medicine in India.

In erode,turmeric is most agricultural product and here most of the production is on turmeric because based on the sail test, turmeric growth is very well compared to other products in the erode district and surrounded areas. Turmeric is essential product for the ayurvedic medicines and also its also included for the dishes of the regular foods. Many of the ladies are apply turmeric in their face because it gives effective and brightness of their face.
