I love Idly ( Mallipoo mathiri Idly). It is easy digestible Tiffin in the Morning especially for office going and school children. Idly is Fat free Tiffin. So even elders can eat it.
Eating OATS and Bread & Jam is boring. Eating Idly with Sambar , Coconut chetney wow ! ! Delicious.

I agree that idli is good in taste but we cannot take it as it is
if we go with coconut chutney,then your calories shoot up automatically.
The carbohydrates in idli digests quickly and there is no fiber in it.
Oats have carbohydrates that are slowly digestible,hence it is recommended for diabetic patients.
