Rain only will bring Cauvery water to TN. All politicians in TN and Karnataka doing politics in the name of Cauvery. Central Government should nationalize all the rivers in India. Central government unable to solve water problem among its states but it is fighting with Pakistan for water sharing in a river. Good Joke.

Cauvery water to TN through Karnataka will be in papers or minds but not in flow. This water dispute is running since many years and no leader has even taken up this issue with right earnest. If at all Karnataka receives copious rains in the catchment areas of Cauvery then they will open the gates to TN and that all. No tribunal or courts can solve this problem.

The supreme court has ordered to give water to Tamil nadu .Karnataka saying that it is giving .But only the excess water at the rainy season is supplied to avoid the overflow of excess water. The two states ruling and opposite parties are playing political games to win the margin on other as it will raise the emotion of the ordinary people as it would fetch votes for them .The govts should bind to the judgment first .Secondly all the parties in one state should come close to speak in one voice apart from from their political fight. Thirdly all the people of these states should come close to discuss the problems of their mutual interst and realise the ground situation. They must take a vow not to be emotionally fooled by the ruling and opposition parties. If they were strong the problem will be solved within two months. We as responsible citizens of India shuld have a broad mind to hear others problem .and we must develop a solution by the way of give and take..We should realise that no river is starting in tamil nadu and only flowing from other states. At the period of agreement it is less people less fertile lands and Eng govt.;now there is a great change in population and in need of water.Bearing this we should judge the position objectively. If we are in Karnataka what would we talk? The kannadians also should think so .If there s political will to the govts and parties to settle the issue it could be done. But alas ..!

Yes Vasudevan to avoid flooding of Cauvery delta in Karnataka catchment areas, that govt time and again releses excess waters to TN and that cannot be taken has the following of SC court orders. TN has been demanding her legitimate rights on this issue for many years and no CM has ever taken it in right earnest.

instead of telecasting unnavirudham by cine actors and giving long endless interviews, the media should show the actual situation in these areas where the public can come together and pressure both the governments to achieve a common goal.
Like Suresh Kumar said, its Pure a political game where the ball is getting rolled by these two states
