TASMAC'S Wine Shops Good for Tamilnadu Future?

    TASMAC:

Abbrevation for TASMAC-Tamilnadu State Marketing Corporation Limited.

Tamilnadu Government has taken over the Indian Made Liquor Distribution License to Distribute all over Tamilnadu.Do you think is it good for our Future?

    My Opinion:

    1. It leads to many Suicides of Tamil Families due to the Poverty. The Poverty is not by the Unemployment, the Family Man spending his all Money in Drinking Wines.

    2. Criminal Cases are Increasing Widely, Liquor Just Exaggerates our stable Body to some Bio Magnetic State, Where you can't feel yourself Fully. So, it makes you to do some Criminal Activities.

3.TASMAC Wine shops is now available with Bar also. So,the People who drinks a lot are Disturbing the People.Since, most of the TASMACs are Kept Near the Schools,Hospitals,Bus Stands.

Karthik thanks for bringing good topic to the forum.

The govt is getting lot of revenue through wine distribution by TASMAC and no govt will forgo such huge income just that some people are dying here and there.

Before take of Retail Vending by TASMAC, the Government Revenue through TASMAC was Rs.2828.09 Crores. It has increased to Rs.6086.95 Crores during the year 2005-06. The additional Government Revenue during 2005-06 was Rs.3258.86 Crores and the growth rate was 115.23%.

The present earning is 12,491 Crore (124.91 Billion) Rs in 2009-10

Imagine the turnover in future and decide yourself.
