Hello Vignesh,
I would say that their are many tourist places that are more attractive and it all depends on the mindset of a person. A person who gives more interest in Spirituality would prefer to go to Temple city Madurai where temples like Alagar Kovil, Meenakshi Amman Temple etc., are situated, if the person is interested to spend some nice time with family members you can prefer to go to places like Ooty, Kodaikannal that are really cold and have a good time. There are numerous places and it depends on the interest as i stated earlier. Please mention the exact location of the place to get more information about them or if you have any experience state them in the resource section that would fetch you some cash.

Regards,
Sudhan A

Hi all,

Kutralam is also best tourist place in the south India particularly in south Tamil Nadu. There are lot of water falls available in Kutralam. The best season to go to Kutralam is July to September. See the details of various falls in Kutralam

with regards,

S.Manoharan.

Hi Friend,

South Tamilnadu is filled with lots of tourist places. As Sudhan said Madurai is one of the best places for the temples.

When you want to enjoy with your friends and family then you can go to any of the hill stations in South Tamilnadu like Ooty and Kodaikanal which will be the best place for vacation.

If you want to enjoy the sculptures you can go to Tanjore Brihadeeshwarar temple.

Hi bro,

Madurai is one of the best tourist place in south tamilnadu. Many temples like meenakshi temple, Thiruparamkundram temple, Alagar temple, Palamudirsolai temple and many. Famous tourist place in madurai is Thirumalai nayakar mahal and Gandhi museum. Madurai is a 'Not sleeping city'. Don't miss to visit this city.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi

In Tirunelveli district, you can find a good tourist places.

In city you can have Nellaiappar temple and a famous 'Iruttu Kadai Halwa'. Also you can visit by train to Senkottai, the sides of the train itself is a good sight seeing. Nearer to this is Kutrallam(There are good number of falls like main falls, old falls, five falls etc) and season here is mostly around July and August and sometimes in February also.

There are many temples around called Nav thiruppathi and Nava Kailash for both the lords of Vishnu and Sivan.

One among them is Papanasam where you can have agasthiar falls which any one really enjoy. Nearer is Kallakkad which is famous for its forest.

Also nearer places are Kanyakumari and Tiruchendur(famous for Murugan Temple and on the way you can see VanaTirupati in Kurumbur) and Kanyakumari is famous for temple and sea shore and a nice sun rise and sun set is the highlight. You can have Boat trip in Sea to Vivekanandar Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue.
