    Adding Photo to your Resource

    Hi,

This announcement is for all the members who post resource with photos. I can see members adding image to their posts. They use Photobucket.com to upload their photo and use the HTML tag in the resource that you post.

But from now on you follow this procedure. You can upload the photo as attachment and from there you can give HTML tag link to your resource.

The procedure to add HTML tags to your resource is available in this Resource. Screen shots are also provided for the same.

The resource with HTML tag of other websites like Photobucket will not be approved.

    Hello friends!

This is a timely announcement from our editor Mr. Balasubramanian since using PhotoBucket and other external websites like that has been creating troubles. Hence, using images hosted by external sites like PhotoBucket has been banned in TamilSpider forever.

Precisely, the reason for is that any day these sites can go out of their businesses and in that case, all the resources in TamilSpider will be void of images, showing an ugly cross in their places; which we would never want.

Another reason is that using an image hosted by an external site needs to use their bandwidth which they will not be allowing for long. They have no profit upon this practice, so any day they will stop the photo hosting and sharing service and/or start charging money for it.

Members are hence requested hereby only to use the Attachment Option for using images in the resources and other sections.
