Tamilnadu Customs and traditions

Tamilnadu is famous for its customs and traditions but some of them are quite irritating. They spend lakhs for marriage not only for marriage but also in death. There are lots of practices when a person dies. In many families they cook variety of dishes and keep before the photo of a dead person and eat the food. All the relatives will be called for this and they will have a great feast. There are lots of unusual and irritating processes which I think should be avoided.

Hi Mangala, Yes it is quite true. The only People of Tamil Nadu are spending lot of money for their homely functions like House warming, Marriages and they also spend a huge money for the demises of a person in their family. These amounts are totally waste and no use in our life. we are all known that the difficulties in the earnings of money today. So, The people should realize this and should stop this kind of unnecessary expenses. In marriage, The people spend huge money for the Foods, Marriage decorations and some time it goes in Lakhs and lakhs. These monies never come back again in our life. We can deposit this unnecessary expenses of money in banks in the name our children and it will be very useful for them in future. Through this forum message, I kindly request the people of Tamil Nadu to avoid this kind of expenses in future and make their children's life happy by savings of unnecessary expenses.
