    Mobile version of Facebook in Tamil soon!

    Facebook announced that it is planning to start mobile version of Facebook social website networking in 8 Indian regional languages including Tamil and Malayalam. It was decided as the number of users from India getting increase day by day. The current number of Facebook users from India is around 4.5 crores. Facebook is taking this step to increase this number to a further extent.

    Its a great news for the people in Tamil Nadu and for those who don't how to use English version of facebook. Definitely the number of users in India will increase due to this step. People who find it difficult to use Facebook in English language will now find it very easy to use.

    I think this is not so much necessary. People who dont know English is an uneducated who doesn't have any knowledge about technology. People who dont know English is not going to use facebook. Users may share their posts in Tamil but its happening already in FB. We have Tamil feature in our mobile but its too confusing than English. Because our brains were set fully with English terms. If suppose our Tamilnadu is like countries like France, Germany who use only their mother tongue launching such version will be useful. There is no respect to Tamil in Tamilnadu. Only politicians uses Tamil word. Sometimes Tamil becomes non- understandable language in some cases. This is all due to the westernization.

    Tamil language is good but Tamilans were not got at Tamil.

    It is not necessary to introduce in tamil. Anyway if Facebook is interested to introduce mobile version in tamil then we can welcome.
    No harm.
