Will India support US backed resolution condemning human rights violations against Tamils

Recently US moved a resolution condemning human rights violations against Tamils in Sri Lanka, at the UNHRC. Will Indian Government support the US backed resolution? All parties in TN wants India should support the resolution. But I dont think India would support it since they want Srilanka than TN and give importance to Rajapakshe than TN sentiments / feelings.

India supposed to move this resolution against Srilanka and they have the responsibility too.

Hope US backed resolution would get more votes and Srilanka will be punished.

India won't vote for US backed resolution. It finds some sort of trap in it for India. If it is passed then another solution on India would be passed on the excess of indian military in JK and north east India moves cautiously .
If we analyse the resolution it is very very minimal level. The war crimes done by Srilankan military and govt is more punishable than demanded in the resolution of US.Actually US based resolution has helped Srilanka .A large scale crime has been minimised and its trick to support it ,indirectly mean that all countries accept the level of crime is as told by Srilankan govt only.It is a great victory to govt.
Actually the UN itself should propose a resolution framing the charges all excessive deeds of the Srilankan govt and military. But now it has escaped.Us backed resolution says or demands to implement the recommendations of Srilankan govt.Srilankan govt didnot rejected the recommendations of it.But it wants some more time to implement the recommendations. So there is no difference in US stand and Srilankan stand. The tamil organisations and political parties havebeen trapped by the resolution of US.The time will prove this will have nothing effect through this resolution

How long they will take time? Already 3 years gone. Still those people doesn't get any justice. Tamils in Srilanka should need equality and dignity. India should support US backed resolution. I dont think it will happen because India want Rajapakshe than TN. India slowly creates anti indian sentiments among the considerable Tamilians in TN.

today it has come out that there is nothing useful to Tamilians of Srilanka or TamilNadu in US proposed resolution.Thiagu himself has accepted this in Puthia thalaimurai discussion. It is a trick of USA to accept Srilanka govt stand .It is international politics. All parties have raised hue and cry even today in and outside of parliament to support the Us sponsored resolution.CPIM only was demanding a suitable enquiry should be done to punish the war crimes of Srilanka and pressed Indian govt do for it without mentioning Us sponsored resolution. Now all the parties including congress and CPI have fellin into the tactics; they were all crying for passing the resolution.
