Pongal is one of the important festival celebrated by people of Tamil Nadu. Pongal is celebrated in a grand manner in Villages and during this occasion peoples from different cities access Bus service for moving to their native. The Tamil Nadu Government by understanding the necessity of the people even have arranged various special buses on this occasion. In addition to the above the private bus operators make use of this occasion and charge 2-3 times the original fare charged by them which could be witnessed through several complaints registered towards it.

The Tamil Nadu government by taking this issue into consideration have come up with a special department for registering public complaints towards the private bus operator. The public can contact the Government Bus office located at Koyambedu Bus stand in the below number.

Hi sir,
It is true that the buses and vans charge very high rates on the festival occasion. The owners of bus and van are just utilizing the chance for their purpose. It should be avoided.
It is a good and welcoming move from the tamil nadu chief minister. The people who charge the high rates should be punished. The should be made to know their mistakes.

Thanks for your valuable responses and hope the above information would have provided you with a valuable information about complaints to be registered with Omni Buses. I expect this may even continue in forthcoming festival and holiday season and if possible kindly make a note of the above number and inform you near and dear with this information when required.
