    Two Industrial Towns, in next five years, near Chennai!

    Tamilnadu's Chief Minister has signed an agreement for starting two new industrial towns at 1500 acres near Chennai. The cost to be invested in this project is about 3500 Crores and it is planned to start within five years. Two different companies from Japan and Singapore would make this industrial towns. As an outcome of this project, 40,000 individual will get employment in next five years.

    CM has made a good announcement but my question is whether our government has made plan for providing additional electricity to these industrial towns. Already we are suffering from electricity deficiency due to unplanned permission for several industries around Chennai during past DMK government.

    Already Chennai getting congested due to rise in population. If these industrial towns were started surely it will make congestion at the city premises, why don't the government could take steps these type of industrial developments in other districts?
